When the mice is away...

Went here when my SO was out of town on a Thursday night.... needed to blow off some steam and KOD seemed like a good place to try. This was my first visit there (actually in all if the Minneapolis area) and honestly I wasn't expecting very much. I used to live in Austin and have been to some of the best clubs in Texas (Treasures, Sugars), California (Mitchell Brothers) and Florida (Molly Browns and Platinums)... and most of the northern clubs I've been to didn't show me much (albeit they were mostly in the Northeast)....

Much to my surprise, The King of Diamonds was good! Not great... but certainly worth the trip. The drinks were not cheap, but not too expensive either (Gin and Tonic - $6.50, Club Soda - $2), and the club was nice and clean and felt veryt safe and comfortable. Like others I've seen in reviews, I'm usually not much of a fan of totally nude places because you don't get what I'd call value for your dancing dollar... sure you get to see everything, but the "intimacy level" usually goes way down... overall though I felt the girls (6-9's) were very friendly. I probably got 2-3 table dances (don't really remember their names), and happy to strike up a conversation but no real connection... However, the private dances were much better than expected and not full nude (which I liked). I had private dances with two dancers (Chantal - highly recommend, and Dallas - not so much chemistry). Bottom line, you they put on a little more clothing but you get much more conversation, grinding and "satisfaction". Overall, spend $250 and felt like I got my moneys worth... will definitely be going back.
