Didn't Quite Live Up to Expectations...

I was in Orlando on business. Thanks to intel I knew that the Orlando clubs would be a waste of time so after work I headed on the I-4 to Tampa to see the legendary Mons Venus. This club has always been on my bucket list, ever since I heard about it 25-30 years ago during its prime.

First, be careful on the I-4. One of the worst freeways in America. Major accidents all the time. Florida drivers suck.

Got to Mons Venus around 7 pm on a Friday night. Steep cover charge (around $20) but they give you a hand stamp so that you can go in and out. Friendly hostess. Nice change from the usual fat bouncers that usually pat you down outside the SoCal strip clubs.
