Came into the Rio on a Sunday evening after striking out at BBF and Dancers earlier. Cover was $5, female taking cover at the door had a nice personality. Rio is the darkest club I’ve been to, it takes your eyes several minutes to adjust. Club decor is a bit rundown and club is in a sketchy part of town, but I have never felt personally at danger here.
First dancer I saw on stage was Candace (brunette, fake tits, some face work) and she was easily an 8.5/10 on looks, would’ve been a 9 or higher but some of the plastic surgery she had seemed a bit excessive for my tastes. They only had about 5 dancers at this time of day (about 6 pm), and the rest of the dancers were pretty rough looking, sub 5/10 in my opinion. Mix of ethnicities with black, Hispanic, and white dancers.
Had some good conversation with Candace after she got off stage and proceeded to have several dances. Great dances but nothing approaching extras. Would recommend Candace highly for those content with no extras.
I would return based on recent reviews that make it seem like the crackdown from last December is subsiding. Rio is very hit or miss, but you can usually figure that out within 30 minutes.
