Good but not Great
So I found myself in Tucson for the weekend, and decided to give Curves another try. I've had some great experiences here in the past, and I'm usually ready to see what the current status is. As the growing restrictions dialed back on the Phoenix clubs i found myself more and more appreciative of the more liberal Tucson scene. Curves usually has the top shelf talent in Tucson (at least by local standards) with a mix of older 'lifers" and U of A students pursing proactive financial aid strategies.
You enter the club down a long hallway to the cashier. The bouncer gives a quick standard wand down, but I've never had a request to check or scan my license (I'm gray and look like a business type). I think the cover is $10, but I always grab a coupon for entry on their website.
When you enter there's a weird low sloping ceiling; I'm tall enough to need to watch my head. As you walk in there's a seating area behind a rail on the right. I don't know if it's anything special, but a number of dancers seem to congregate there. A long bar runs down the side with stools and server stations. The room has a main stage in the center rear, with two smaller stages toward each end. The VIP area(s) are toward the rear. A small enclosed area next to the stage used to be the Players Lounge with hourly rates; that's now apparently an extension of the VIP area. Shortage of players, I guess.
