Getting back to normal at PH

I visited PH recently, and I am happy to report that the club is getting back to normal after the brouhaha over the lawsuit by an ex-dancer there.

For those who have never been there, the inside has a large bar area with a dance area within the bar. It's BYOB if you want alcohol. There is a pretty narrow area around the bar for seats and moving through. There are a few private dance rooms near the front door, but most of the private dance areas are in the back of the club. It is far from the flashy clubs, but it's comfortable and relatively clean.

The big news is that the doors to the private rooms were replaced with sheer curtains, and now they are back to doors again. Girls get called up for dances, and in the afternoon it's usually for two songs each. Most girls will then go around the outside of the bar on the dollar parade, to entice you for a private dance, and at least getting $1 to $3 for a barside dance. The irony is that the better dancers won't push for as much money at the barside dance, since they are getting plenty of private dances. I have never had a problem saying that I wasn't interested in a private dance, but I try to say no nicely.
