Kind of Tired of It

Lusty’s is in a run down part of Akron that is fine during the day (mostly) but you may be uncomfortable after dark. The club isn’t run down, it isn’t “a local bar”, it isn’t dirty... it’s far worse. It’s a complete shit hole. From the moment you walk in, the floor, the doors, the walls, the bar, the bathroom, the chairs are all jacked up in some way. Even keeping it dark will not hide this.

That said, you walk in two sets of single doors, the “VIP” is immediately on your right as you enter, the stage is maybe 8’x8’ on the left and rarely has anyone dancing, or even considering it. The bar is on the right next to the “VIP” entrance and runs 80% of the wall. Then there’s maybe a vending machine or something and the dancers changing area after that. (I think... I’ve honestly never studied down there enough to be sure). Near the end of the bar on the opposite wall is a 10-12’ opening to another room. It’s got a couple tables on the right as you enter, a pool table to the left and I’ve never ventured beyond that but it’s darker and appears to have boxes and whatnot about. If you walk between the tables and pool table to the wall there’s a men’s room. Do not expect to be able to do anything but take a leak... and even that feels risky every time... touch as little as possible.

In any event, I am writing about last week, but this appears to be the new normal for daytime. No sign of Red in over a month now (day or night) for me, no sign of the hot Italian girl with long black hair at all, no sign of Layla (I think that was her name- tall, probably mid 30’s, solid body, hard to determine ethnic background but maybe Easter block?), no sign of any girl who you would actually want dances from except Honey. Honey is a young, slim, fit lighter skin AA. Very pretty but doesn’t seem to want to be there... almost ever. She will dance for you and grind a bit but nothing extra can be had (in my experience) and she’s pleasant but generally disinterested. The rest of the lot is either exceptionally large or no younger than 35 and well past their prime, or both exceptionally large and wel past their prime. I know some of you all have favorites, but Ivy, Jamie (haven’t seen her lately), the like 50 year old lady who looks like Ma Fratelli, the and on and on are just some of the line up you’ve been visiting for so many years we’ve dropped our standards to all time lows to get some play. 25 year old you would be appalled at this line up.
