Didn’t stick the landing
first saw Landing Strip on my drive in from the airport in broad daylight, making note of its driveway location in the midst of a construction zone on 183. That helped me find it more easily when I visited on a Tuesday night.
With its relatively small, haphazard parking and isolated location, LS looks outside like a relic of the 80s. Pickup trucks, rental-looking cars and Hellcats all vied for space on the side. Tonight was “$5 dance night” so I was bracing for crowds.
Walked in, paid the cute girl with bouncer next to her $10 at the front desk, and was immediately fondled by a dizzy blonde with a beer named Emily, who offered to see me inside later.
