Expensive, yes, but fun... and the only touch-allowed S.C. in NoVA/DC..

Well, let's get the obvious elephant-in-the-room out of the way first. As others have mentioned, Papermoon is incredibly expensive. To have a really good time here, you're going to need to spend a LOT of $'s. But if you're comfortable with that, I'd argue that you'll most likely have the best time and highest quality dancers that you'll encounter in Northern VA and DC. Maryland clubs will offer much better bang-for-the-buck for sure (particularly in Baltimore, MD), but depending on where you're located in the DMV - those are much further away.

I continue to return to Papermoon periodically when visiting DC- despite its outrageous prices - primarily because my main philosophy is that if touch/contact isn't allowed in the S.C., then what's the point of going to a S.C.? So yes, if you're on a budget or don't care about contact - there are many less expensive options available in the DC area. If your philosophy is more like mine, however, read on...

If price/cost is the main "minus" to Papermoon, then I will say that the two main "Pluses" are that (1) Touch/Contact is allowed for certain dances, and (2) There's very consistently high quality and variety of attractive and fun dancers. Here's a few of my favorites: Shea, Julie, Mariah, Kayla, Luna, Cali.
