I dropped into Seamless for a...

I dropped into Seamless for a return visit late at night on Wednesday, September 6th. Since my last visit in March they’ve finished the building exterior, including a place for cabs to line up on site. The inside is the same, but the large video screens to either side of the stage that were running looped clips of random strippers last time were now running either what looked like Windows 95 screen savers behind the club logo or music videos for the songs being played. In both cases I found it very distracting from the dancers on stage. Waitresses and bar staff were quick, bouncers were innocuous and the dancers all looked to be in the right line of work, although there weren’t enough of them for the size of the crowd. I ran into Sway, the same dancer I’d spent time with last trip (and that has never happened to me before on consecutive trips to Vegas) and if she didn’t remember me she was at least good at faking it. I let her drag me into the VIP again and once again she was very entertaining if a little low on the contact scale. After that I had a couple of laps from a couple of random girls, but by this time the place was beginning to fill up with people waiting for the after hours club to start. These customers were taking up a lot of space but they weren’t buying dances and yet they made it that much more difficult to both find a dancer and find a place for a dance. I’ll probably be back to Seamless, particularly if I find myself staying at the Orleans at some point, but the after hours thing cost it points with me this time.
