Construction started
Well, they finally started the construction. They walled off the main stage area all the way to where the DJ used to sit. They are now only using the small stage. It is really tight and many customers are now sitting on what few bench spaces are left. That is making it more difficult to find spaces to do dances with customers. No seats available at the bar as it is full with both customers and dancers.
Both customers and dances were leaving shortly after entering the club complaining about the situation. The partitioning of the space has caused the people to be concentrated into a much smaller space which has reduced the effectiveness of the air conditioning and the smoke filters. Given that the area which held the small tables and chairs along with the elevated private dance area on the left portion of the club are no longer accessible, be prepared to stand much of the time. Of course customers and dancers standing in what aisle space is available, makes it difficult for waitresses getting your order and returning with it.
Everyone is doing the best they can in coping with the situation. Actual construction seems most likely to be done during off hours since one does not hear hammers, saws, etc during the hours the club is opened for business.
