Like Fine Dining

Yeah this place costs a lot relative to other options, but if you're careful it can be worth it a lot of the time. I only go every 6 months or so, as I generally try to stick to a budget and to cultivate dancers with lower expectations at other clubs. But occasionally I want to eat at a steakhouse. And many girls at Ecstasy are prime cuts: more the Orange County California/Newport Beach look than at other SoCal clubs. Still a lot of Latinas, but a LOT fewer "chubby" and trashy girls than say Sahara or TJ's. Plus the girls here seem less "young & dumb," or at least most hone their conversational "game" to appeal to the older, richer dudes who tend to patronize this place.

The cost hammer starts with $10 admission (for days, think it's $20 at night) and two mandatory non-alcoholic drinks at $7 each (payable up front). Stage tipping less than $2 per dance will usually get you the stink eye and last stop on rounds when they get off stage. And most pull back your tips after each dance, to maximize revenue. Lap dances start at $50 per song nudes (no topless), but the songs are longer/full length and dances are in private room/cubicles with leatherette beds. No specials. Mileage seems readily available, but asking prices are high and most girls are pretty skilled negotiators. There's also something of a "cartel" of girls who apparently all pressure each other to price-fix and to follow a negotiating pattern (and it ain't to our benefit). You can kind of ID the cartel girls because they sit in a pack in the room and trade intel; be wary of them. I tend to the ones who sit by themselves.

Physical set-up is pretty nice. Long stage with round dance area and pole at one end. Upholstered chairs, low but functional lights, music at a reasonable level. Long bar on the South side; no drink push and pretty low-key bouncers and staff. Customers are generally older and look wealthy, and like there's lots of regulars. Parking lot is small and not a lot of street parking nearby (club location is quite isolated), but rarely an issue for day visits. Bathroom small but always very clean, as are the VIP booths and the club in general.
