Visited Toppers during the Georgia Notre Dame game a couple of weeks ago. The entire town was slammed for the game and since College Gameday was there, I assumed it would be. It was great to get a break from the crowded bars and find a place to sit down. When Athens gets crazy for a game, Toppers can definitely be a place to find some refuge and a seat. Toppers was definitely more crowded than I've ever seen it during the afternoon but I was still able to sit down. The girls were plentiful, I'd say atleast 30+ girls. They must have staffed up for the game weekend. We weren't really focused on anything other than the games on. Toppers almost gives me more of a sports club vibe than it does a legit strip club. Anyways, the stage show at Toppers is always top notch. Honestly I have to say, its one of the best stage shows in the state. You can come here and have a few drinks, see a few naked women and leave without a huge financial commitment. Cover was already being charged in the afternoon but on other afternoon trips, I've been able to get in without cover. That is one thing I try to do on a drinking weekend is stop by right when they open and avoid cover. Then I'm able to walk in when we are done drinking. This place still isn't a top notch club but it will scratch that itch if you're in Athens.
