Saturday night nogo

Went here on Saturday when a friend dropped in from NY. i was planning on showing him our ATLs best club follies but due to few reasons the time of visit changed from 2pm to 8 pm. And boy what a difference it made. the atmosphere was totally different to my previous visits. the valet charged us $20 to park, it took another 40 to get in. The usual smell we get in this place was even more pronounced. We could smell it while getting patted down outside without the second set of doors open. There was a heavily armed guard who patted us down and seeing all this scared the heck out of my out of town friend. i still paid our cover and took him in hoping we would get atleast some of the usual action but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. we could not find any free girls and the crowd was huge.

In the end, we left without a single dance after 30 mins of waiting, which means a lot from follies where i usually get a dancer within first few minutes. we ended up going to Oasis but it did not meet our needs either. a sad experience this was, but it will not prevent me from going back during day time ;p my friend won't get a chance to experience it unfortunately, which is the "sad" part.
