Good time, I’d go again

Went to Divas on a Tuesday having been once or twice before a long time ago, so I had some idea of what to expect but not much. On the whole, I liked it and would go again. I arrived around 10:30.

First, it’s a BYOB place so be sure to bring whatever drinks you intend on drinking. Parking against the building is $5, but if you parallel park across the street its free. Cover has three levels: $12 regular cover which gives you access to floor dances, $22 VIP which gives you access to dances along the sides which are somewhat private and $80 celebrity VIP which gives you access to the back room which isn’t exactly private booths but is configured in such a way that it feels pretty private. I got the Celebrity VIP because I figured I saved a bunch of money on drinks and why not try it out. I can’t say if dances would have been better in the regular VIP area but all of the dances I got ranged from fairly high mileage to very high mileage so no complaints at all. All dances are $10 a song regardless of the location. Other than the mythical Follies of Atlanta, I haven’t actually had such high value dances consistently throughout the night.

There were about 15-20 girls and the night was slow so the club didn’t have a high energy vibe. But, there was a constant rotation going on stage. The girls were almost all Latina and primarily from Cuba. Many, maybe most, spoke little English but you can get by with a little high school Spanish so it really wasn’t a problem. Looks wise there were no stunners, but most were good enough looking that I had no qualms handing over $10 for a dance.
