New Owners, Indifferent results...

Decided I needed a little fun so I hiked down to Oasis on a Saturday around 5 pm. I visited earlier this summer and had a great time on a Wednesday afternoon. I figured that Saturday would be even better. When I arrived I noted a big orange placard from the Liquor Control Board indicating that the owners were applying for a new Liquor Permit; I was curious as to what was going on and why the change. As you will see in other recent reviews, there apparently has been a change of ownership and thus the liquor application. This threw up some flags for me as one wonders if the ownership would intentionally clamp down on rowdy behavior in light of the permitting process. Seems so.

When I arrived there were only a half-dozen patrons and no dancers in sight. Usually there is someone on-stage and 2 or 3 girls hanging at the end of the bar playing on their cell phones; but none in sight. I didn't even see a bartender; a few minutes later though the bartender appeared and was prompt with a drink. She was a cutie, but no one I recognized...more changes from the new owners perhaps? After a few minutes a girl appeared and stopped by my bar stool, but no sooner did she get a buck, then she ran off to do a set on stage. Well, at least some entertainment.

After her 2 song set she came back to visit and Vanessa seemed quite fun. I bought her a drink and slipped a few bucks and she was exploring a little on her own. I often go back to for a lap-dance, but one turns into two into three and before you know it, you've spent a hundred bucks plus with tips with not a whole lot to show for it. The last time and this time, I went straight for the 15 minute deal in a private room. The price went up 20 bucks from the summer, but now included a drink for you and the dance (or 2 for you if she doesn't want one). New owners, new pricing?
