weekday adventure

Stopped by RAB to check this place out for the first time on a Thursday after work. It's a small, unobtrusive building located on the main road near the center of town. There is no big sign out front and it's easy to miss (which I did) even though it's right on Route 46. The parking lot and entrance are in the rear.

There was no entry fee and the place was surprisingly packed for 5 pm on a weekday. There were about ten "dancers", though none were dancing. It seemed like a very local crowd with a laid back vibe. Patrons were casually dressed and dancers were hanging out with them, not hustling them. The good news was that there was no dollar parade, the bad news was that all the dancers seemed to be engaged with others.

I ordered a $4 beer with a $1 tip and sat at the bar to take in the scene. The bar is L shaped with a few chairs against the walls, but most of the action was at the bar. The lighting was dim but from what I could see most of the dancers were hispanic, older and overweight - mainly 5's on a 1-10 scale.

Fortunately a cute dancer (maybe a 7) made her way over and sat down next to me. We struck up a conversation and I bought her a $5 beer. She eventually offered a $25 lap dance in one of the small rooms off in the back with curtains for doors. I passed, gave her a $5 tip instead and headed home.

all in all, a pleasant diversion for $15, but nothing too exciting. I had the sense that extras were available, though I didn't ask. I will probably come back to explore that Avenue in the future, but only if I am in the area as its not worth going out out of my way.
