Drunk and unfulfilled
Getting There—I was in Brooklyn on business and had a few free hours. Took an Uber to the location as it’s not really walkable from the Brooklyn Bridge area, nor would you want to walk through these neighborhoods. During the day, it would be fine but in the evening it’s a little sketchy.
The Club—Two very large bouncers greeted me on the way in. They did the typical quick pat down, collected the $10 cover and let me into the club. Overall this place is fairly small, so small in fact that I thought the walkway to the bathrooms was another part of the club, but it wasn’t it was just the bathrooms. The bar runs down the entire right side of the club and on this particular night at this time in the evening there were two bartenders working. I chatted with the bartenders a bit and order a Coors Light ($10) and a shot of tequila for the bartender ($15). The drinks were a bit on the expensive side, but nothing unusual for NYC.
The Stages—There is one long narrow stage that runs down the center of this small club. There are also two small satellite platforms on either side of the stage. The girls move from the first satellite in the back of the club, to the main stage and finally to the satellite at the front of the club. They undress bit by bit as they move from the back to the front, expecting tips as they move by you at the bar. There is no where to hide in this club. You are either at the bar or along a rail on the left side of the club. You will be hustled for dollar tips as the girls make their way by.
