It was dead

I was in Richmond for business and decided to stop into PaperMoon on a Sunday night. I have been to the one in Springfield, VA which has always had a decent amount of talent but is super pricey and at the end of the day not really worth it.

It's in a so-so part of Richmond but not super sketchy. Plenty of parking out front. Cover was $12 and a Budweiser ran me $7 I think. When I gave the woman at the front a $20 for the cover, she gave me the change in these weird branded "PaperMoon Dollars" which is annoying since you obviously have to spend it there.

I walked in and the facilities are actually not bad - it's pretty clean and not too dark with one stage in the middle, the bar at the back, and the VIP room off to the side. However, there were only 2 girls working. IT was pretty lame. I waited around for about 45 minutes thinking maybe one or two others would show up, but nope. I tipped one of the girls on stage and she came over and sat next to me for a bit. She was a cute redhead and then she tried to talk me into VIP. I went over to the VIP area and the woman there showed me the "menu." From what I saw the cheapest was $500 for 30 minutes, but I could be wrong. Either way it seemed like a total rip off since girls have to keep one foot on the ground and wear pasties. Oh well. Spent an hour here and blew through about $50 with cover, a couple of beers, and some stage tips.
