Thirsty Thursday

I've been spending a little more time in this local haunt lately (mostly day time visits). There is currently no cover at Club Alex's prior to 6:00 PM. Lap dances are $20 a piece, but they are overly monitored these days compared to the days of old here. The VIP prices are $120 for 10 minutes, $240 for 20 minutes, and $280 for 30 minutes. My Rum and Cokes were $9.00 plus tip each on my recent Thursday afternoon visit, but depending on the rum the drink can range in price from $7.50 to $9.00.

There has been a more complete lineup at Alex's lately, perhaps bolstered by club closings at Zach's (Cape Cod) and Temptations (New Bedford). Thursday's lineup included Beauty, Seven, Diane, Arya, Jada, Sadie, and Gemini. Since there were 7 -10 customers in the club at the time, my options on this visit were plentiful. I chose 2 from my focus group of 4 (Seven, Diane, Sadie, and Arya) and was well entertained in my combo of laps and a CR. While I have my reasons for liking the 4 mentioned, Beauty, Seven, and Jada have their admirers and offer quality entertainment as well.

The finest addition to Club Alex's was adding a digital lineup display with automated sound system , while losing the DJ from Hell that never shut up! Now can they cure the current day manager of his ants in the pants, but this old man has adapted!
