Good Value

I love black women and a good $5.00 dance, so on my recent trip to SoFlo I was eager to try this one out. One thing I'll warn you about is that the street it's on, NW 187th, is only a block long off the main road and it's not marked – no street sign. Because of that, I missed the turn twice, once in each direction, despite my GPS telling me to turn. ("Wait, where?") The only other building on this short street is the City of Miami Gardens Police Department right next door. So there's that.

I visited on a Saturday afternoon from 2:30-5:00. Parking (no charge) is a challenge because the lot is small, but I think you can probably park on the street. Security outside did a fairly serious pat-down and wanding, and I saw him search the bags carried by women entering – and these were dancers coming to work. No cover at this time; bottled water was $6.00.

This is a small club, with very loud music, so conversations inside are difficult at best. That said, the girls were friendly and didn't mind repeating their name a few times until I finally asked them to spell it for me directly in my ear. I wasn't deaf when I went in, but after this visit – and my next stop at the Body Club (see separate review) – I'm sure I've lost a little auditory acuity.
