Putting rumors to rest
Although I have been to 4 other clubs in Brooklyn I had always passed on this club because they dancers at the some of the other clubs said that transgenders like to hang out here and that they would try to get dates here. Now 3 of the 5 clubs are closed Bottom's Up and Pleasure Palace are the only clubs still open and since my experience at Bottom's Up wasn't that great I decided to see if there were female dancers at Pleasure Palace. All 5 clubs were right together so walking from one to the other in less than 3 minutes wasn't a problem. I walked into the Palace with no one at the door, it was dark inside, and there was an incense candle burning at the entrance. Those things had me set to walk out but I went against my instincts and stayed. The club is dingy & dark on the inside but not as dark as Follies and I wasn't comfortable because of the transgender rumors. There is a long stage in the middle of the floor and the bar is at the far end of the club. On the right side of the club are the dressing room and I believe both male and female bathrooms are there next to the dressing room. There were 4 dancers and 1 male bartender/door guy all Black. I was the only customer the entire time. I don't remember a cover charge but I think there is a sign that says 2 drink minimum. The only thick dancer was a 19 year old with a nice soft butt, nice firm breasts, & no fat that I could tell. She was on the stage closest to the entrance and I could only see her when I walked in so it surprised me when another dancer walked out of nowhere to greet me. The trans rumor was still in my mind and my eyes had not adjusted to the darkness so I declined her offer to hold my hand to guide me to the bar. Once at the bar the lighting was better so I could see she was a petite female as were the other 2 dancers. I tipped $5 to each dancer and tried to shake the 1st petite dancer to get to the nicely built dancer on stage. Out of the 4 the 1st dancer was the friendliest and since this was a recon I asked her questions about the club rules. The vip is on the left side and runs the length of the club. It is elevated and accessed by walking up 4 or so steps near the club entrance. There are several love seat type couches and they are separated anyone walking up there can see you and the customers on the floor have a good view of the dancer as long as she is standing up. It is $50 to the club to go up there. The 1st petite dancer said 60 to her to sing in the mike no cover and 100 for fs no cover. After she said that I forgot I what the regular dance prices were. There is an atm with a $3.95 user fee but it only allows $100 withdrawals. I gave the dancer $20 for the information and walked out. I walked back over to Bottom's Up and changed my mind before I walked in and went back to Pleasure Palace. Another customer had arrived as I walked out and he was getting a dance from one of the other petite dancers and the nicely built dancer was getting dressed to leave. I up tipping the 1st petite dancer more than I had intended to spend but it was worth it. No fs for me but still money well spent.
