An ok visit to Solid Gold to check out the private dance areas

I’ve been in Miami for a couple of days for business, so I’ve been hitting some clubs around the Miami area during my down time. I went to Scarlett’s twice – see my reviews of my two consecutive visits to that club. It’s still the best club for me, especially now that the $25 dance rooms are back. This time, I went to Solid Gold as I wanted to check out their 15 min rooms for $25. That rate is available before 8 p.m. I arrived around 5 p.m and I parked on the side of the club. There was valet parking going already, but no one asked me to pay to self-park. I walked in past the reception girl, and she said that there was no cover at that time. The club has been described many times by others, but the quickie description is that as you walk in, there is a bar to the right, a long rectangular stage in the center, a satellite stage near the bar, and dance areas are all to the left side of the club (opposite to the bar). The restaurant area is on the far side of the club opposite the entrance.

There weren’t a lot of girls working yet, maybe about a dozen, and most of the ones that were on the floor appeared to be tied up with regulars. The girls were mostly white, with maybe two AAs. One girl that interested me got up to dance, and I went to the stage and tipped her and asked if she could join me. She said that she couldn’t right away because her regular was here. Figures. I ordered some food, and got kobe sliders (comes with two sliders) and a water. I think the sliders were $12, and the water might have been $6. The water came in a super fancy blue glass bottle. I don’t know what it is about the clubs in Miami, but the food tends to be quite good. I didn’t order any alcohol as I needed to drive.

Reviews have said that the dancers tend to skew a lot older than other clubs, and I think that during the time I visited (5 to 7 p.m.), that was somewhat true, but not entirely. I expected the girls to all be old MILFs, and there was certainly some of that. But there were also some dancers in their 20s or so. A blonde came and sat down, and since my choices were limited, I decided to get a 15 minute room with her. Negotiations got her down to $150 for the 15 minute block of time, and a “happy ending” was included (her words). We went into the back area, and there is a reception desk where the guy took my money (tipped him a $20), and he told me to have fun.
