Visit to an old standby

Had a girl who was interested in a club trip as a prelude so I brought her to my old standby. Exterior and neighborhood still the same: warehouses, commercial manufacturing, and a whole lot of nothing else. Parking lot was half empty but well lit, with a couple bouncers outside the front door smoking cigs. Got inside, paid $20 cover for the two of us, got our ids scanned, went through a very cursory metal detector check (ymmv we don't look very threatening or likely to cause problems.) Got two domestic beers for I think $10 before a $2 tip and sat down at the stage.

There were about 20 other customers, but no one sitting at the rail. Every now and then someone would wander over for a specific dancer and sit with a couple bucks but that was about it. Saw several of the hit and run guys get extra handsy and catch a warning from the dancer. There were about 15 dancers on shift, but only one on stage at a time. I don't think Fantasy Island upstairs was open because I didn't hear them call any dancers up there and the DJ didn't promo it at all. Thought it was odd they had half the club closed on a Friday but several dancers told us it was very slow because of the good summer weather. Went outside to the patio briefly, seemed like half the dancers were just hanging out smoking back there.

Dancers were solid quality and friendly as long as you weren't a creep. Several did actual pole work and one even hung from the metal rafters. Enthusiasm varied but at least a few dancers seemed to genuinely be into things, or at least were good actresses. Didn't go for any dances but did tip $10-$20 per stage set. Sets seemed unusually long, 3 very long songs or 4 normal length ones. Overall vibe was what I expect from CF and why I like it: working class strippers with solid looks and no attitude who treat you decent as long as you do the same for them.
