A Bright Spot In An Otherwise Dismal Portland Visit

Never been a big fan of Portland clubs. Everyone talks about how the city has so many. But, it pretty much just spreads an already limited talent pool even thinner. We were driving through town and decided to revisit the scene. Club 205 was a bright spot in the otherwise awful stop.

We started our adventure at Casa Diablo and couldn’t drink our beers fast enough. Not worth a review, other than there were 3 3s dancing and not worth the 10 minute drive north of downtown. We fought rush hour traffic across town to get away to Club 205. Which, used to be pretty reliable.

Club 205 is like most Portland strip clubs - a tavern with some ladies dancing. Go in with that expectation and you might not be too disappointed. Expect a Vegas style club with Vegas style women and you will be sorely disappointed. We went in before 6:00. There was no cover, no ID check and plenty of seating. We hit the bar and got a couple $2.25 domestic pints. Place was full of blue collar types playing video poker and hanging out like you would at any tavern after work.
