Looking For A Dance

Stopped in hoping to catch a dance or two from some of my favorites, but as usual none of them were working this day. Actually I was hoping to see Patty, who is equal parts crazy and energizer bunny. With her you just sit down and strap in for the ride. There is no telling where the conversation is going to go.

There were plenty of dancers to choose from in all shapes and backgrounds, mainly black. Which I usually try to avoid because of the perfume smell, that will linger on your clothes and in your car. But it seemed that most of the dancers were just sitting around by themselves or sitting with their favorites.

A very skinny black dancer who had a large cross tattooed on her chest came up to me and asked if I was taking dances. And since the clock kept of ticking away I decided to take a chance with her. Not a bad dance, but skinny dancers are not my thing. And the upsell sitting at the bar was far more interesting that the actual dancer was in the back.
