A somewhat eventful Friday

I rarely get to this area on a Friday, but my last two visits here have been on a Friday afternoon, the most recent yesterday, Friday the 13th, and before that about 3 weeks prior.

Cover charge is $5 during the day, waived if you are a veteran. A metal detector pass thru is required and is tighter than any airport one I have passed through, so just ask for a pat down first, saves you time from emptying your pockets and removing any possible metal including watch, glasses, belt, etc. That is a pain to deal with, so I gave up and just ask for the pat down when I enter. Domestic beer is $4 a bottle, no draft available. Since I don't do mixed drinks, I don't know the price of those, although I have paid as high as $14 in the past for a drink for a dancer, but I believe that is probably the exception, as it was some wild concoction.

The stage lighting here has again been altered with the addition of several "strings" of lights hanging from higher on the ceiling over the stage. These lights are also fading from pale blue to pale pink continuously. The other LED spotlights are still annoying depending on where you sit at the bar, since they will shine in your face.
