Deja...Eww.

After a disappointing visit to Fox’s we were guardedly optimistic that the 2 mile drive to the other Deja Vu club would salvage our stop in Tacoma. It didn’t. As stated in my Fox’s review we usually avoid Deja Vu clubs. But, despite the corporate feel, low mileage and cameras that we don’t like, there is usually a decent amount of eye candy. Not on this trip.

We didn’t have the benefit of a free cover coupon. So, it cost $22 to get in - $10 cover and $12 for the bottomless sodas we never got. On the way in there was a sign that spelled out the private room prices: $150 for 15 min, $280 for 30 min and $400 for an hour. Layout was the same as it was when I was last there at least 10 years ago. Curtained off seats up the stairs to the left, booth seats up the stairs against the back wall, booth seats below and in front of those, main stage to the front with the VIP room and another stage in the far corner.

There was a heavy girl in a tank top, booty shorts and tennis shoes cleaning the stage when we arrived. We figured she was the waitress but she never came by to take our drink order, contunued to dance after cleaning and came up for another stage set as Hennessy. The dancers were announced by the same weird automated D.J. voice we encountered at Fox’s. Wonder when dancers are going to be automated out of jobs.
