Its All About Who You Know

Most of the reviews have all the details - no cover if you get there in the afternoon, 2 for 1 drinks until 7pm, etc. The main issue with HL is that they have been under LE watch for sometime, with numerous "raids" in the last few years. This is all covered in other reviews, so I'll get right to it: there's still fun to be had at HL....if you know the right dancers.....and take them to the VIP area. Floor dances are dead - too much for dancers to risk anything for $10. Any fun now days is in VIP where dances are $25 / dance and as with everything, can be negotiable if you commit to multiple dances. In my visit, an "old" dancer friend (meaning I've known her for a while - not that she's elderly...although some of the dancers there should consider making a move to HL's sister club: HiLifer - a geriatric exotic dance club with great wheel chair dances, stage performances with amazing moves on walkers and the VIP is appropriately titled: RIP) Ok, back to serious reviewing: went to VIP with a dancer I've known for a while and all I can say is she hasn't changed a bit. No names here since I don't want to get her in trouble, but a hint is that her name is a well known city. Find her, and you'll have a great time in VIP just like at the Old HL. She agreed to $100 for 5 dances, but we both knew there was a big tip coming her way at the end...so about $175 later, I left a happy customer, although the contortions that now must be exhibited by dancers in VIP to avoid "knees on the ground" or other obvious positions could qualify some of the "still fun" dancers better for circus acts.
