First time to KoD

Now to town, I decided what better way to spend a Saturday then at the local strip club. I decided on King of Dianonds for the sheer fact that they advertise a dollar beer, and while my expectations were as low as for the applebee's dollar drink, I decided why not give it a shot. So on a saturday at 3:30 I pulled into King of Diamonds.

The area surrounding KoD is stark and doesnt boast much of anything, but it didn't seem a bad area. After entering and having my I.d scanned, my first notice was that this place was small. Two stages, two bars, and seating scattered throughout. Despite how small it felt, there was ample seating around the stage. So I ordered a dollar beer, which came in a small plastic cup and tasted no different than miller or pabstbor any other watery domestic, and sat to watch the show.

The woman were surprisingly having a good time despite the day shift crowd being lackluster at best. The dances were good and despite a few flops, it was an enjoyable experience sitting stage side.

I decided to get a dance before I headed out and after ordering another drink, to accommodate their buying drinks on a regular basis rule, I went with the first entertainer to come to my table. The dance was ok, especially for only 10, but the no touch policy definitely had me yearning for a better club.

All in all if you're looking for somewhere to save a few bucks and just enjoy the show, King of Diamonds is a decent place. But for anything more the downtown stripclub are most likely the best bet.
