Would go back - KOD is the best in the cities

I go to this club at least twice a month. As a local, I have been to all of the clubs in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area. Also, since I travel quite a bit for work and pleasure, I have visited many clubs in the United States, I can say this club compares very favorably to any I have visited.

The KOD is located in the middle of nowhere and across the proverbial tracks, but if you have a car or are close enough for a reasonable uber, this is the best place to go in the cities. Parking is free and the lot well lighted. Security cameras monitor the cars and the area is very safe.

The club opens at 330 but most of the dancers don't start working before 430. There is no cover before 500 and it's $10 after 500. They check everyone's ID to make sure you haven't been banned or have a notation that you are not allowed to enter an establishment that sells alcohol. The bouncers are generally polite and won't bother you if you obey the rules posted but they are very protective of the ladies. They want you to have a good time and spend your money. The owner does show up on occasion and makes sure that things run smoothly.

Once inside there are two stages, upper and lower and each stage has a bar. The upper stage closes around 600 during the week and on Friday and Saturday whenever the crowd starts to thin. The club has happy hour from open to 6 and the cost of beers (by the glass) is very inexpensive and 2 for 1. Rail drinks also on special. I don't know what they cost as I always get a call drink and it's good strength and $675.
