Ok, so this was my first visit to any Lido iterations since the fall 2018 shut down and reboot. I had heard that the reboot at scores was lacking, but heard that the new 39th street spot was more like the old Lido, which I liked.
Got there in time for free cover and a free drink, so had nothing to lose.
The setup was the upstairs VIP area of the w39th Sapphire club. It was really nice, but not many places to sit once it got busy.
Girls were pretty good, I’d say half were the caliber that I expected at old Lido, and a couple were more typical stripper and a few were like FOB eastern euro types that are just not my thing.
First dance was from a hot blonde with bolt ons, and it was very uninspiring. Very mechanical and not much grinding or good contact. Keep in mind this was before security was frequently around in the back.
I got a few more dances that were much better and similar to what I would expect at Lido. Only issue was that by now security was old over the VIP room, a guy was going rounds every 5 mins or so and the girls would basically cool down when they saw them. At one point the guy yelled at my girl to keep one foot on the ground...
I know that’s the main rule, but isn’t the point of a private Lido party to have some bending of the rules?
All in all, got some good dances, one more bad one, and one time LDK.
I would prob go back, but until they ditch the extra security nonsense I’ll also go to the competition for LD parties.
