Tale of two Cheetahs

For those that have met me in person, I can sometimes be a bit of a "know-it-all"... I'm here to eat some crow regarding my questioning other's opinions/reviews of Cheetah. I was in the area Thursday before last and decided to drop in around 1:30pm. The mandatory valet was in place, as always, and parked my vehicle in the shaded garage area (valet is $3, but I round up to $5 with tip at pick up)

I walked up to the "check-in" counter and the door girl said $5 cover...no sign posted. Never understood daytime cover, but what the hell. Sometimes I wonder if whoever is working decides whether the person knows whether there should be a cover and simply pockets the $5. Turn to the left and down the long hallway leads to the main part of the club. I decided to sit at the bar farthest from the entrance and got a seat at the very end.

I ordered a ginger-ale and gave the bartender a $20. He brings back $9 in change and walks away. I left the money where he had laid it down and then caught his eye to get him to come over. "I think the change might be short" He counts and says, "sorry, I must have been distracted" ...
