Riviera is my usual go-to in Queens but it's very hit or miss in terms of action and in terms of dancers. I've been there 10+ times and I'll give the lowdown. Overall, I feel like it's gone downhill in the past few years, but is still worthwhile on any given night.

VIBE: The place feels very wanna be chic. Disco lights, red carpet throughout, shiny banisters. But the look is kinda old and tired at this point, honestly. Clientele tends to be mainly late arriving Hispanics/African-Americans. Lots of hookah smoking. Not out of the ordinary to see couples. Music is blaring, pretty loud. Lots of latin reggaeton, some trap music, hip hop. Two stages, but every time I've gone only the main stage is filled. There's a separate room with a bar and couches with which to get dances, but this is almost always empty.

DANCERS: 95% Latina dancers, mostly immigrants from Colombia/DR. Many don't speak much English. Dancing skills on stage are questionable, and girls do not go topless on stage. Good deal of South American plastic. 65% seemingly with fake asses, some comically large. They hound you and many are annoying in asking for dances. Almost every night there is 1-2 girls who are 8-10s, but it feels like the overall average has plummeted, with more 4-6s than years ago.
