Naked chicks and reasonable prices

Visiting St. Paul for multiple nights on work, I wanted to find a club that was a little low-key, and the reviews posted by others led me to believe King of Diamonds would be a reasonable choice. The other reviewers' intel proved correct, and I got what I was looking for.

I arrived around 10 pm on a Wednesday night. The location felt a little far out with few signs of life on the adjoining streets. KoD had a well-lit parking lot serving as a nighttime oasis in the wilderness. Door man scanned my ID and asked for $10 cover. Signs are posted about no return entry allowed after leaving, but there's apparently a patio if you need to step out to smoke. The other major rule is no cell phones are allowed out in the main dance area, but you can return to the entry area if you need to whip it out.

Two doors lead into the main dance area, first encountering an area with high top tables adjacent to the main bar (approximately 30' x 30'). A short wall with a counter and chairs separates this area from the main stage (15' x 5' with 2 poles), with another short wall with seats to the left. A row of public/private dance benches run the length of this area on both sides. There's apparently another stage, bar, and seating area further back, but it was not open that night. The club has something of a sports bar vibe, with tons of neon signs lining the walls and a couple TVs nearer the entrance. Good look for a place with a casual atmosphere.
