I visited Centerfolds on a Saturday night at 20:25. I had not been back since a disappointing visit twelve months ago. There were only three cars in the beat-up parking lot other than mine. I was charged a $5 cover at the door. Inside the club, there were only three dancers and three patrons. I felt like the cover charge should have been waived when the club was so dead. Sincweisers were $5. The music was a mix of hip hop, rock, and pop. The sound system is dated, so it is hard to understand what the DJ is saying. The stage is a massive rectangle a couple steps off of the ground with three pole positions. The stage was completely empty the first hour I was at the club. Three white dancers did three song stage sets, then there was another long gap of no stage performing until I left at 22:30. If Centerfolds was this boring on a Saturday night, I can not imagine how it would be on a weekday or an afternoon. Smoking is allowed inside, but some dancers will stand out front of the entrance smoking marijuana.

Lap dances take place in eleven booths along the parking lot wall of the club. There is a divider wall that blocks the view from the rest of the club, unless you are seven feet tall. Lap dances are $25 per song. Further down the wall in the northwest corner of the club are three or four VIP booths. They are identical to the lap dance booths, only it is darker and more secluded in the corner of the club. A half hour VIP is $125. The ATM at Centerfolds charges an $8 fee per transaction.

There were three dancers working when I arrived. Another four showed up by 21:00. Another one streamed in after 22:00. The eight dancers were an equal split between Caucasian and African-American.
