sinclair's Review

I dropped by Omar’s at 23:15 on a Friday night. There was a $5 cover to get in. Twelve ounce bottles of Sincweiser were $5. Waitresses will bring you as much free popcorn as you want. There were two overweight shot girls wandering the floor, trying to sell test tubes for $4. I had to turn each of them down four times each. The inside features a large island main stage with two poles. One dancer would go on stage at a time. There is also a satellite stage on the far side of the main bar that was used when the club got busier. There is a shower stall in the corner furthest from the entrance, but I have never seen a shower show in all the times I have been to Omar’s. On the second floor is another small bar, the private dance area, and the champagne room. The dressing room is the basement of the building.The music was a mix of hip hop, pop, and rock, but it must have been cranked up to 110 decibels. To talk to a waitress or dancer, you had to shout!
