Not bad for the price, but when it's busy there are better options
Parking at Chica’s is tight. Even at 4:00 on a Saturday the front lot was full and I had to drive through a narrow alleyway to a generous dirt lot in the back to park. There was an attendant there hosing the lot down who seemed to be keeping an eye on things, but I personally wouldn’t be very comfortable leaving my car there at night. I might throw a couple bucks the attendant’s way to keep an eye on your car.
The bouncer was very friendly and there was no cover, he didn’t check my ID or pat me down. I’m betting this is a case-by-case basis thing.
When you enter the club the shift from daylight to darkness renders you immediately blind and the sound of Ranchero music is deafening. This is the first club I’ve been to where I wish I’d packed a set of ear plugs. I have a decibel meter app on my phone and fired it up a couple times and it was warning me of potential hearing damage. Maybe that doesn’t matter to you, but it’s something to keep in mind.
