Not my afternoon this time.

I came in on Thursday afternoon about 2 PM because I needed a break, after spending all day on a job site, and wanted to cool off, parked in front, valet was there but indicated to me to park up front, guess they wanted to class up the place a bit, because my ride is a late model luxury car, and the valet told me no charge but I threw him a buck anyway.

Walked in and stood there a few moments having to allow my eyes time to adjust to the darkness after being out in the bright sunlight all day.Once I could see I walked in no cover charge afternoons and headed to the head, down a hallway to the right as I needed to wash up a bit. The troll in the men's room was accommodating passing me a wash cloth and some soap, so I threw him a buck too.

Headed out to the bar and grabbed an open stool in the corner by the bartenders register as it is my preferred place to sit, because it makes it easy to scan the room. Looked around the satellite bar on the other side was unattended but there were a couple of folks chatting and watching a repeat of one of the preseason football games. There were at least 10 or 15 gals sitting around chatting up a bunch of older PLs that were all scattered about between the bar and the tables a girl on stage doing a very lazy routine, and to the right side the dining room, which is raised slightly (two steps, I assume to make the main stage visible from that area) was busy with the at least a dozen fellas and some dancers partaking in the bountiful buffet, which included roast beef and many other good looking foods displayed. The buffet rules seem to have changed since I was here last, there was an upcharge of $10.75 for partaking, I don't remember they ever charged in the past, but apparently well worth it judging by the number of diners partaking.
