Wrong way to go
I was planning on going to Pandora's, but I was literally on the wrong side of the tracks at Auburn Station so I missed the northbound train. I should have taken this as a sign, but just as I was about to head home, the southbound train arrived so I decided to try something new. I should have read the reviews here first, but I was being controlled by Junior.
The cover charge must have increased because it was $22. The ATM charge is 10%. Others have described the club's layout pretty well. The entry-level has tables and chairs (three rows) around the main stage and there's a row of bench seats behind those. The LD area is up some steps and it looked like there were a couple VIP rooms with beaded curtains, but I'm in a wheelchair so I couldn't verify this. The "bar" is kitty-corner to the back of the DJ booth and a second stage area with ample seating in an alcove area across from the "bar. " This alcove area wasn't being used except for some dancers warming up on the dark plus the seating area in there would serve as my LD area later.
It was pretty dead in the club when I arrived around 6:15 and the stage shows were unimpressive with dancers not even getting on stage sometimes when they were supposed to. There were just a handful of dancers in the club for quite a while and just a few other PLs. I took my place at a table right at the stage so I could see well. It took a good 45 minutes for a dancer to even approach me but she wasn't my type so I declined her offer. About an hour after arriving, I was about to call it a lost cause when I noticed that the PLs getting attention were not in the front row like me, so I decided to move back a row for a few minutes to see what happened.
