This review is for a visit...
This review is for a visit back in November 2005. I just signed up here so I thought it necessary to mention. Anyways, I am not a frequent visitor of strip clubs. But I have been to a couple of nice ones in the past, such as BabyDolls in Dallas, Taj-Mahal Cheetah and Gold Club in Atlanta, Gold Club in New Orleans, and Deja Vu in Shreveport, LA.
I was on business in Dallas, and my buddy and I couldn't resist the temptation. We went to the Lodge solely on Maxim magazine's recommendation. Thank you Maxim! We went on a Friday AND Saturday night. That's how much we enjoyed it. The first night we were impressed with the variety of dancers from the typical blonde bombshells to the Asian variety. The second night a football game was on the huge TV in the main dancing area. Can it get any better? Football, strippers, and beer all at the same time. We decided early on to pick a dancer to keep with us for the night. We both found our own asian girls to keep us company. I must say these girls allowed touching, and touched back. I can tell you that you can get hands-on if done right. My dancer took me to a secluded area(the lighting was perfect-dark, but enough for close contact), and it was definitely hands-on. I was surprised at how far this dancer went in the main area. I'll put it to you like this-there was hands-to-breasts, her hands to you-know where fully exposed, breast-stroking of you-know-where, kissing, and a few times, kissing of her breasts. I was amazed I didn't get thrown out. Obviously, she knew how to hide her actions well. My buddy was receiving just as much attention as me. They did mention the champagne room, but actually recommended to stay where we were. We didn't argue. We had different waitresses both nights, but both gave excellent service. As long as we took care of them, we never had to wait for a drink. I can remember a couple of times other patrons(when they could catch a glimpse of the action) jaws dropping from seeing what the girls were doing with us. For anyone wanting advice, I highly suggest you read the rules of the road on this site. It should be basic common sense for strip club etiquette. Also, a little extra money to the dancers can go along way when you follow the rules of the road. It can all depend on two things-your budget, and how you treat the dancers. A good mix of this gave us two nights I thought worth mentioning almost a year later. I couldn't tell you the cost of the drinks because we ran a tab both nights. Oh yes, our waitresses helped keep other dancers away when we asked. Anytime our dancers would have to go on stage, we would get hounded by the other dancers. Obviously they wanted in on the money we were throwing to our dancers. Don't get me wrong, the hounding dancers were hot, but sticking with one was a better investment than switching or just one lap dance while our dancer was on stage. We did take a few lap dances from other dancers. I was made an "offer" outside of the club, but didn't have the dough for it. I was going to go back recently in hopes the same dancer was there, but I have found out she is not. I'm sure there will still be plenty to choose from. Obviously, I highly recommend The Lodge. I just hope I have another "business" trip soon so I can have a repeat.
