Fun Times
I arrived at the club around 9:40 pm on 8/17. There was a very small line waiting to get in which I found unusual since I am usually able to walk right in at that time. There was a nice looking lady talking to the bouncer at the entrance who appeared to be trying to get her and her friends in without paying a cover. I think she told him that they were potential dancers who were there to check out the club. That didn't work and they ended up paying. Her friends looked like they could pass as above average looking dancers so maybe she was being honest.
Once I got in I got my usual beverage for $10 Canadian which was more than I have paid in the past. I used to pay $7 Canadian. I walked around and noticed my favorite dancer was on one of the smaller stages so I made sure she saw me and walked on by. I waited for her to find me which she will usually do and when she didn't I walked back to where she was dancing and saw her sitting with someone. I later found out she was "booked" for the night with that guy so I moved on somewhat disappointed.
I found my second favorite dancer and we went back to the VIP room for several $20 dances. The room was extremely warm bordering on hot with no AC working. When I asked about that I was told the owners had installed new AC units on the roof but the duct work in the bldg couldn't handle it so it was shut down. The last time I was in the club the VIP rooms were freezing but I'd rather have it to cold than to hot but I'm not sure the dancers would agree. As a side note I noticed that there weren't as many dancers as usual working and I wonder if the AC issues have something to do with that.
