Memorable Mid-Week Visit

I’ve been to Atlantis several times. The contingent that approves these reviews likes lots of descriptions, so I’ll touch on the layout and decor: The club is designed like a Vegas-style version of a building on the Acropolis. It is lux, clean and very spacious with incredibly high ceilings. This is in contrast to the pre-fab style of many Midwest clubs. There are 2 stages, with a few extra fandom poles, and then separate hallways for private dance rooms and then hourly rooms/suites.

On this night, only the main stage had dancers, which seems to be a best case scenario for weeknights. (I’ve visited on prior evenings when no girls were on stage.) In any case, I had called ahead and had confirmed that a certain type of girl that I favor was working there. The lady at the front desk recognized my voice when I arrived, and immediately told the bouncer what I was looking for. (Nothing deviant; don’t worry.) Anyway, he very quickly tracked down a top 5 hottest dancer based on my preferences. Like top 5 ever. She was smoking hot, but also completely fucked up on alcohol or drugs... and not like zonked out, but aggressive with no short-term memory. It made negotiating a transaction very challenging, and she repeatedly moved the goalposts (either dumb like a fox or dumb luck, but it worked for her). In any event, we eventually got a 30-minute room. I overpaid by a lot, but she performed like a crazy-hot chick, and everyone was satisfied in the end.

Not sure what you should take away from Atlantis from this particular anecdote, but it’s the nicest high mileage club in Chicago and delivers about 33% of the time. There are some really good looking dancers and many that are not.
