Going down hill, but I'm still a regular
I am a regular at the Inner Room. First, the interior is in desperate need of renovation. Yes, I know they talked about doing so for more than a year. I guaranty that they will do renovations during the daytime while remaining open. I don't expect much improvement in the layout. I don't expect any improved privacy in the new "private" dance area. Remember that the owner remodeled the men's washroom with a hand dryer that stopped working after 60 days and hasn't been fixed for several months. This is the same new owner that decided to put a coat hooks above each urinal. I don't expect any better design than the current layout if they move forward without hiring some design help.
The parking situation is the worst among all the immediate area clubs. During the week, they allow beach goers and other non-customers to park in their lot. This is so people can avoid the 90 minute limitation on the street parking and also avoid paying for parking. It is even worse on weekends though they charge $10 for non-customer parking. They sell 30 parking places at $10 each and fill up their lot so customers who will spend $100 to $300 and more can't park. MAKES NO FINANCIAL SENSE!
If you hate tobacco smoke, this is not the club for you. They did install some smoke filters several months ago but they probably have not been maintained. The club also seems to attract cigar smokers.
