Checked out the Yellow Rose last...

Checked out the Yellow Rose last week after moving back to Austin. Been almost 3 years since I'd been here and thought maybe it had changed a bit. Alas, still not to my liking.

The club is medium-sized, reasonably decent decor. Nothing great, nothing bad. The patrons, IMHO resemble more of a college bar type scene, with a few rougher guys thrown in. Overall, a younger, more blue-collaresque crowd. Nothing wrtong with that, it's just typically an indicator that the talent may not be here.

Surprisingly, there were a few attractive dancers. One or two were solid 9s in my book. Very young and inexperienced however. Having now visited several local clubs, I would guess Yellow Rose might be the club of choice for some of the UT coeds.
