Convention Conclusion at Rick's

The club is located about a block away from the convention center. While parts of the walk to the club were a little questionable, the club itself seemed to be in a safe location. There were also plenty of other people walking on my route to and from the club that I didn't worry too much.

Upon entering, there is a dude behind a counter collecting cover charges. It was $10 on Thursday when I went. I heard him tell another customer that it goes to $20 Friday and Saturday unless there is a feature; then it's even more (couldn't hear the amount). After paying, he told me the club was to the left and the sports bar was up the elevator on the 3rd floor. I opted for the club. Once you go through the door to the club, the stage is to the front right and the bar is to the immediate right. There are a decent about of tables and seats near the stage. There was a TV behind the bar that can be seen in reverse in the mirrors behind the stage. When I arrived, they were doing one dancer at a time for 3 songs. Some got fully nude while others kept their g-strings on. There are a couple of thin curtains on the stage along with a large ring and some poles. Most dancers just used the poles but a couple used the curtains and swung on the ring. After 9:00 pm, they switched to 2 dancers at a time.

There were about 8 patrons downstairs and I think more in the sports bar as there were several pre-season football games on this evening. I sat for quite a while (about 20 minutes) and no one approached me (dancers or servers). I needed to use the rest room. It is located back out in the lobby. Of course, it has a troll to squirt some soap on your and hand to give you a paper towel.
