Gave the Strip another try

Thought I'd try the Strip again after the strange experience I had there the last time. $7 mandatory valet and a $10 cover. I was very pleasantly surprised at the talent on and off stage. Not long after I got there they did a talent parade and I spotted some potential. Unfortunately the next time I saw any of them was on their way out the door in street clothes. What I saw was the farewell to the day shift. Interesting AA dancer on stage and she stopped by to say hello after she finished. Under the table handshake that seemed promising. Bought her a $8 bottle of water and started talking about the menu. I told her I like Billie Joel and she said she started at $$$$. If she wasn't sitting at my booth I would have walked away then. Should have anyway. We settled at $+ 1/2 and went downstairs. Out came a raincoat and it was a brief rain. Not very refreshing. Better than last time, but nothing like I have had in the past. Next time I'll get there for the day shift.
