A nice way to spend a hot Friday evening...

Found myself in Phoenix on a Friday night with nothing or no one to do, so I decided to go to Sugar 44 for the first time. It was an easy decision as Bourbon Street Circus doesn't really offer what I look for in a SC and HiLiter is no longer on my list of places to go to or spend money at.

I haven't been to a new-to-me strip club in a while but having heard good things about this club, my visit was long over due. Found at least half a dozen empty spots in the parking lot behind the building. Walked in the door and the girl there told me the cover charge was $10. No ID check or pat down that I remember. Found myself walking into a club much smaller than I expected. The bar was immediately in front of me as I walked in, a curtained off VIP area to the right and a small stage to the left.

There were plenty of open seats and I found one along the back wall. An attentive waitress was beside me in a short time. Another VIP area was along the west Wall and elevated. Girls told me it was a one-time $20 for entry to VIP and then $20 per song. The DJ was a bit difficult to understand while announcing dancer names but otherwise he was not a big factor in my visit
