I've been working in Gastonia, NC the last couple of weeks. With that, I've made a couple of visits to Leather & Lace - Gastonia. My last visit was on Thursday of last week. I arrived at the club around 5pm. There is no cover before 7pm. I purchased a $20 membership a few weeks ago on an earlier visit this summer.

After getting buzzed in I order a Corona ( on special at $4.50) and found a seat at the bar. There were 3 dancers at the bar talking to customers and two others walking around. Two customers were playing pool. The dancers were decent looking, no raving beauties, typical local Gastonia girls in their twenties. I sat at the bar, chatting with the bartender and drinking my Corona. During the conversation the bartender gave me 5 passes to enter at night without paying the $10 cover. The gesture was appreciated. Shortly thereafter a petite blond approached and asked if she could join me. I agreed and she pulled up a bar stool sitting close enough to make contact with our thighs. She asked and I agreed to buy her a beer ($6) and a shot ($8). We chatted some and I bought her another shot (S8) after she finished her beer.
