If I'm back in Milwaukee soon, I will return to Silk Exotic

It had been decades since I had visited Milwaukee. I was passing through on a Tuesday night, and after a good meal in the Historic Third District, it was getting dark, and I was thinking of being entertained. I had my phone point me to the nearest Gentlemen’s Club and ended up at Silk Exotic Downtown. There were two many doormen in front for my taste, but I entered anyway, paid a $10 cover and walked to the end of the bar. A Coca-Cola was $3.50 with one free refill.

I learned that Silk Exotic had been open for only a year and a half and was part of a three-club chain. The interior was quite comfortable. The bar on the south side was long. There were three small stages, each with a pole, with comfortable easy chairs around them. When I arrived around 9 pm, only the center stage was in use. Later in the evening a second stage, the one closest to the entrance was opened.

Silk Exotic had some features that I would like to know other reviewers’ reaction to. There were many video screens, but they were not as distracting as at some clubs as the majority were showing videos of the songs that the dancer was performing to. When the dancers climbed the pole, at the top they were hidden by a display screen which, in my opinion, diminished the value of their acrobatics.

The ratio of dancers to patrons was quite good, but that led to many of the dancers just talking in groups or looking at their phones. The dancers were attractive, but most in my opinion had too many tattoos.

Shortly after I arrived, an attractive young woman, struck up a conversion, and tried to convince me to go to a private room with her at $150 for 30 minutes. I turned that down as I wanted to see more of the selection. If she had come back later, I might have had some dances with her, but I did not see her again. It was a long while before a second dancer approached me. We had a pleasant conversation, but before she got around to making her sales pitch, she was called to the stage. While she on stage a third dancer approached me at the bar. She was attractive and a good conversationalist. She claimed to be the only dancer who had no tattoos, no children, and had a college degree. She convinced me to have a few lap dances but was unable to convince me to sample the pleasures of a private room. The lap dances were performed in a cramped area which was more private than whatever the usual lap dance area was. When I had enough dances, she made a pitch for a tip on top of the lap dance fees, and I fell for the pitch.
