Gigis. . . Better But Still Average

I hadn't been to Gigi's in a couple of years but found myself driving by after having my car repaired down the road. I thought I'd stop in. It was around 3 pm and the bartender was outside smoking. When I went in, the place hadn't changed. . . same old furniture, same bad lighting and, although one of the girls would claim otherwise later, the same old carpeting.

As the other reviews stated, Gigis has an "L" shaped bar on one side and a medium sized elevated dance floor at the other end with one pole. It was dark, but not ridiculous inside.

There were only two girls working, a thicker white girl sitting at the bar and an older, thinner white woman sitting at one of the tables. There were no other patrons. I grabbed a table in the corner near the front door and the bartender quickly got me a beer. . . I think it was $3. Maybe $3.50.
